Teaching Philosophy

I have been very fortunate in my journey through golf to have worked with some of the most incredible instructors and played with some of the greatest female (and male) golfers in the world. I have endeavored to glean the very best from each of these passionate, talented and inspirational individuals and have built my own philosophy from these learnings and from my lifetime of experience playing the game.

I believe that golf is difficult enough without the added expectations and preconceived ideas that we all have. I also believe that most golfers get stuck in playing golf swing rather than in playing the game and as such, I am excited to help my students take their swings on to the course and "play" the game.

My approach is to keep things simple while working to create individual improvement milestones for my students that take them on a journey with the game that works to create a simple, repeatable swing, imaginative short game and solid, consistent putting stroke.

As a coach, my goal for each student is to give them the tools to reach their goals and most importantly, enjoy the game for a lifetime, no matter what their skill level is.
